Water, more than you can imagine
So, you’ve gotten your massage and your therapist tells you to drink lots of water. What exactly does that mean? While hydration is always important, water after a massage is especially important. Lot’s of toxins were stirred up from your muscles and tissues during your massage, and it’s the job of your lymph system to remove them. It needs water to do this! The average person drinks no where near enough water on an average day. Believe me, your massage therapist knows. We can feel it in your skin. One of my first holistic doctor mentors to this day still drills it into my head, drinking plenty of fresh, filtered water is the number one thing you can do for your health and longevity. Number one, and it’s so simple. Check back soon for some tips to make sure you are getting enough water. How much is enough? Here the first clue. If your urine is anything but clear or light yellow, you might want to explore the reason why, as you are probably dehydrated, or trying to rid your body of some sort of toxins, be they chemical, pharmaceutical or whatever.
